Our headquarters are still based at 8850 Stanford Boulevard, Columbia, MD 21045, although our suite address has changed from 2600 to Suite 3250. "The new location will address the continuous growth that we have been experiencing over the last few years. It will provide us with additional physical space so that we can expand our team structure in order to meet the needs of our growing client base.” The new location also features a new state-of-the-art training facility for hosting our clients as well as conducting the popular Routing University seminar workshop series. Announcing INTERSECT ’08!Mark your calendars and make your plans! RouteSmart Technologies’ premier training and collaboration event – INTERSECT ’08 – is scheduled for September 7-12, 2008! This year we’re “Back to the Chesapeake” – the conference and post-conference training will be held at the fantastic Loews Annapolis Hotel in historic Annapolis, Maryland.An important change this year – we think the conference is so important, we’re going to make it easier than ever for you to attend. For every RouteSmart for ArcGIS® primary maintenance subscription you have, you will receive one complimentary registration to INTERSECT ’08! If you have one RouteSmart for ArcGIS primary maintenance subscription, you receive one free registration. If you have two, two people can come for free! Our training options are simply the easiest and most cost-effective way to train new users, support staff, IT, or to reinforce your skills from previous training. NU-001 Data Preparation and Benchmarking Dates: November 5-7, 2007; January 14-16, 2008; March 3-5, 2008; May 5-7, 2008 The first of a group of two seminar classes (NU-001 and NU-002) intended for new users of RouteSmart for ArcGIS, this three-day seminar introduces you to ESRI’s ArcGIS software and provides in-depth training on preparing data to use in RouteSmart for ArcGIS. This group of classes is ideal for backup/secondary users as well as for a new primary user. You’ll learn workspace maintenance, importing and geocoding data, setting routing attributes in the data, creating street networks, and benchmarking routing attributes like time, load, and distance to reflect real-world conditions. NU-002 Introduction to Routing Dates: November 12-14, 2007; January 21-23, 2008; March 10-12, 2008; May 12-14, 2008 The second of a group of two seminar classes (NU-001 and NU-002) intended for new users of RouteSmart for ArcGIS, this three-day seminar covers the route planning capabilities in RouteSmart for ArcGIS. This group of classes is ideal for backup/secondary users as well as for a new primary user. You’ll learn what each of the RouteSmart for ArcGIS solvers will do, when to use them, how to interact with and edit various routing scenarios, and how to generate all of the routing solver reports in the application. NU-003 New User Express Dates: October 22-26, 2007; December 3-7, 2007; February 18-22, 2008; April 21-25, 2008 Need to get trained quickly in RouteSmart for ArcGIS? Have a project pending and want a great refresher? This condensed, 5-day class combines the majority of the content from NU-001 and NU-002 (Data Preparation and Benchmarking and Introduction to Routing) to get you up to speed fast. Intended for new or backup/support users, or as a great way to reinforce previous training, this content-packed seminar guides you through all the data preparation tasks and routing concepts required to effectively operate RouteSmart for ArcGIS. AU-001 Advanced Routing Concepts Dates: April 7-9, 2008 This three-day seminar provides an in-depth discussion of the more advanced route solver settings in RouteSmart for ArcGIS. If you’ve ever wondered exactly what the Balance vs. Compactness slider bars do, this is the class for you. In this class, you will run numerous scenarios to see the impact the various solver parameters will have on your routes. You’ll also learn key strategies that will help you to maintain your routes over time. This class is ideal for more advanced users or those clients who would like to maximize their RouteSmart investment. We recommend three to six months of using the application before attending this class.
