RouteSmart Offers New eXpert ServicesAt RouteSmart Technologies, we've received numerous requests for service that went beyond traditional technical support, but our only option was to offer a consultant at our standard daily rate. We've also heard from clients that didn't contact us when they were struggling with an issue because they knew it wasn't really technical support but they hadn't budgeted for consulting services. Neither of these scenarios made anyone happy. We needed a new option.Enter eXpert Services. When you require assistance beyond traditional technical support, RouteSmart's new eXpert Services provides remote, Web-based consulting, training, process/procedure, or route planning guidance to help you get from "stuck" to success. Do you need:
For these types of service and more, eXpert Services can help. RouteSmart eXpert Services bundles can be purchased in 10-hour increments. Each bundle costs $750. Once you have purchased a bundle, you can schedule an eXpert Services session by contacting our technical support team via e-mail, or by calling 800.977.7284 and selecting option 2. Sessions are scheduled based on available resources, but our goal is to begin working with you within 24 hours of your initial request. Each eXpert Services session is logged and deducted from your available hours and a digital receipt is sent to you each day for the hours used. Once your bundle has been used, you can purchase another bundle at any time. What's not a candidate for eXpert Services? If you receive an error message or see unexpected results from our applications , or you just need a little reminder or advice, that's technical support. Contact us and we will help you resolve the issue, regardless of how much time it takes. But if the software is not the issue and you need more help, don't struggle. Now you have a new, affordable option. For more information or to place an order for an eXpert Services bundle, please contact us to get the assistance you need. RouteSmart WebAccess 3.0 Coming SoonScheduled for a May 2008 release, RouteSmart WebAccess 3.0 offers our newspaper clients the targeted operations and route management tools they need to dispatch and distribute the news. With WebAccess, you can print route and analysis reports, split and combine routes, sequence, and more. Introduced in our 3.0 release, you can now geocode unmatched records, move matched records to a new location, and re-optimize the sequence of an existing route, all from your Web browser! Geocoding in the new RouteSmart WebAccess 3.0 "WebAccess 3.0 allows you to distribute geocoding tasks that previously required an experienced desktop user to the depot level, thereby enabling field personnel with local knowledge to more efficiently and accurately resolve your geocoding issues," says John Sniezek, RouteSmart's product manager for the Newspaper and Postal markets. RouteSmart's product management team is currently determining our strategy for offering Web-based geocoding and other purpose-built functionality for our other target markets. "You can expect a major product announcement at our upcoming INTERSECT '08 conference in September," Sniezek says. A separate announcement will be made to our newspaper clients upon the availability of the WebAccess 3.0 release. We will also be hosting a "What's New in RouteSmart WebAccess" webinar on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM eastern time. Please send us an e-mail if you would like more information or to register for the webinar. INTERSECT '08 Call for PresentationsYou've saved money. Cut miles. Eliminated overtime. Did you know you can: Customize the map extent on the "Zoom to Full Extent" tool? In ArcGIS 9.2, the "Zoom to Full Extent" tool now allows you to customize exactly what you want the "full extent" to be. Previously this tool would zoom to the full extent of all layers. Now you can set the tool to zoom to just the area you want. Click here to watch a Flash demo on this tip, courtesy of ESRI. Have a SmartTip you'd like to share? Email us with your idea! |
