Happy Holidays! Expansion of International Partner Network Product News Routing University Fall/Spring Schedule |
Dear Clients and Friends, As the holiday season rushes upon us, RouteSmart Technologies reflects back on another eventful and successful year. Some highlights of 2008 include hosting our most successful users' conference to date - INTERSECT '08 in Annapolis, Maryland; hiring new team members in marketing, product development, product management, and technical support; expanding our international partner network in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia; and continuing the growth of our company, products, and services. For all of that, and more, we thank you. Now more than ever, we realize that the products and services we provide are critical to the success of our clients. We all need to find efficiencies wherever we can, and the entire RouteSmart team is dedicated to helping our clients improve efficiency throughout their organizations. This year we made significant investments in product development and product management to help us chart the course for next-generation product architecture. We're building efficiencies into every aspect of our systems, from new features and enhancements to how data is stored and accessed to how the software is deployed to your users. We understand that with growth and new products comes increased demand for services and support. We are dedicated to providing excellence in service in all aspects of our relationship with you. In 2007 we told you we would be adding new people, new processes, and new tools to help us deliver on our promise of service excellence. Since then we've doubled the size of our support team; added new offerings like eXpert Services, Implementation Project Consulting, and RouteSourcing; improved the My RouteSmart self-service portal; and now we're evaluating a new, proactive support tool to help us more quickly diagnose and resolve issues. We've invested in more training for our services team, and new systems and processes across the organization. We continue to look for ways to better serve you in every interaction you have with us. As the year comes to a close, we look back on some great accomplishments and forward to the exciting times ahead. In warm appreciation of our association during the past year, all of us at RouteSmart Technologies extend our very best wishes to you for a happy holiday season and prosperous new year. Expansion of International Partner NetworkRouteSmart Technologies continues to develop a strong international partner network by identifying and collaborating with those organizations that demonstrate a depth and breadth of experience in routing, logistics, and GIS. Did you know you can: Use the IN command in the Select by Attributes tool to select records that equal multiple values in a field? For example, you may wish to select service locations in multiple postal codes. Instead of repeating [field name] = "value" OR [field name] = "value" over and over, you can simply use the command [field name] IN (value, value, value). In the above example, the syntax would be: [Postal_Code] IN (21234, 21286, 21204). The selection result would be all service locations in those three postal codes.
